How to Detangle Long Lace Wigs? Divide the hair of your full lace wig or lace front wig into several small sections using a wide tooth comb and hair clips. Work with one section each time. Comb out the tangles by starting with the bottom portion of your full lace wig or lace front wig hair. Be careful not to rip or tug strands of hair out because there is no regrowth. If tangles are too difficult to comb out, use a small amount of detangling solution. Once you have combed out the bottom section, move up a few inches and then start to comb again.
